Definition
Specifies whether the version for which the details are displayed is an active version, in other words, a version that can be processed.
Use
Several versions of a warranty claim can exist within a category.
- There can usually only be one active version per category, in other words, only one version that can be processed. The system automatically defines the last i.e.: most recent version as the active version. The other versions in the category are automatically deactivated during copying.
- During warranty processing with claim split, several versions can be active per category. If the split criterion is, for example, the manufacturer/reimburser, a version can be active per reimburser/manufacturer and per category.
