Definition

Alphanumeric key that uniquely identifies an action control.

Every action control is composed of an action matrix in which is defined which actions are allowed during a specific processing status of a claim and which new processing status then results.

Use

The action control determines the following:

• the action that is processed at the appropriate processing status when warranty claims are processed automatically
• the actions that can be executed at the appropriate processing status when warranty claims are processed manually

The action control is assigned to the warranty claim via the claim type.
