Definition
Controls the update of switchover information for original material.
Use
If you set this indicator, then the system evaluates the substitution proposals generated on generation of the delivery for warehouse orders. The system writes the evaluation result to the database table of switchover information (WSUBST_SWITCHDAT).
Dependencies
To activate the update of switchover information, you can use one of the following alternatives which are independent of each other.
- You set the indicator Update Switchover Information in the global activation of substitution processing. See Activate/Process Substitution Processing.
- If you use SAP Retail , then on the level of the application-specific control in article substitution, you can activate the update of switchover information. See Material Substitution - Application-Specific Control.
- You activate the interface for switchover information in Customizing for the link to SAP F&R. See Maintain Basic Settings for Data Transfer.
Note: This setting controls the transfer of switchover information and the update activation for switchover information. You use this setting if you are using article substitution and update of switchover information in an integrated scenario in which the SAP-ECC System is linked to an SAP F&R System.
