Definition

Absolute amount that determines the maximum permitted value for positive invoice differences in the SAP Retail Store application Incoming Invoice.

Use

The tolerance limit applies to the balance from the invoice gross amount that is entered and the expected invoice gross amount, which is the result of adding the net amounts and tax amounts of the items on the basis of the system data (invoice quantity, conditions from the purchase order). If the balance is positive there is a positive invoice difference.

Dependencies

If you want the check to be carried out, you have to set the Check Positive Tolerance indicator in the Customizing schema for the incoming invoice.

To determine the absolute tolerance limit, you need to enter the currency for the tolerance limit as well as the amount.

Example

You have entered 5 monetary units as the tolerance limit. The expected invoice amount is 100 monetary units. If the invoice gross amount is over 105 monetary units, the balance is over 5 monetary units, therefore the tolerance limit is exceeded and the tolerance condition is not fulfilled.
