Catalog reference that is used for the preliminary entry of new materials in the SAP Retail Store application Material Master for processing in the price catalog function.

Use

There are two reasons for using a special catalog reference in the Material Master application: Firstly, the employees who enter the materials in the SAP Retail Store are not familiar with the catalog references that the vendor uses. Secondly, using a special catalog reference has the advantage that materials entered preliminarily in the price catalog function can be distinguished from those sent by a vendor.
