Documentation
Definition
Indicates that replenishment stock is to be updated using the quantities contained in the document when generating follow-on documents in the replenishment process.
Use
If the indicator is set, the replenishment process counts the quantities in the follow-on documents created (for example, purchase orders or deliveries) as part of the stock for the recipient.
This is particularly useful if physical goods receipts are not posted in the system. The quantities in the follow-on documents are then recognized as goods receipts.
Dependencies
This indicator should only be set if replenishment-based inventory management is used instead of Materials Management-based Inventory Management, i.e. when the Replenishment-based Inventory Management indicator is flagged.
