Definition

Indicates the classification of a message.

Use

Each message that can occur during a program run is assigned a value on a scale from "1" (very important) to "4" (additional information).

In this field, you can specify which classes of message are transferred to the log. The program transfers all messages belonging to the class that you specify and above to the log; messages from lower classes do not appear in the log.

If you leave the field empty, all the messages are transferred to the log.

Dependencies

Example

If you enter the value "2" (important) in this field, the system only transfers those messages assigned to class "1" (very important) or "2" (important) to the log.
