Definition

This indicator controls if the system posts a prepayment document to the profit center and if, while doing so, it takes account of the prepayment clearing lines from the assigned purchase order item.

Use

If you have activated the new general ledger and set the Distribute Prepayment Clearing Lines to Profit Center indicator to the profit center, the system:

• Determines the profit center from the purchase order items assigned to the invoice
• Distributes the prepayment clearing amount to the profit center, weighted in accordance with the item amount

If you do not set the indicator, the system posts the prepayment clearing to a dummy profit center.

Dependencies

You use the new general ledger in combination with the prepayment function in Logistics Invoice Verification.
