Definition
Flag that enables you to configure a material hierarchy as "application-relevant".
Use
SAP applications and programs that use the material hierarchy but do not know the hierarchy ID can use the material hierarchy that is flagged as "application-relevant".
Dependencies
If a distribution-chain-independent hierarchy with a set application indicator is activated, there must not be any other active distribution-chain-independent or dependent hierarchy in the system that is also application relevant. If there are several active distribution-chain-independent hierarchies (that differ with respect to the distribution chain), only one can be flagged as application-relevant.
