Definition

Flag in the material hierarchy that lets you override the end-node check for value-only materials.

Use

If the flag for the end-node check is set, a check is performed for value-only materials in the active material hierarchy; it ensures that materials are only linked to end nodes in the active hierarchy.

If the flag is not set, the end-node check is not performed for value-only materials.

If the flag is set and active material hierarchies already exist in the system, a warning message is issued to point out the potential data inconsistency.
