Documentation
Definition
If this flag is set, the planned budget is distributed to the ordering periods.
Use
Budget planning is always executed for specific planning periods, which always correspond to the delivery period in the Open-To-Buy (OTB) function.
If you want to use OTB allocation, you set this flag for each budget type.
Dependencies
If this flag is set, you cannot change the order date for teh corresponding purchase orders. The order date always equals the current date in this case.
This restriction prevents the system from prematurely using the budget from a different order period in case the purchase order date is changed.
Example
In seasonal procurement, the delivery period can lie several months in the future. In this case, it may make sense to allocate the budgets to the ordering periods of a delivery period as well.
