Definition
Indicates the start date of a budget planning period.
Use
In budget planning in SAP BW, the validity period of the planning periods is defined using the time characteristic of the budget type. When the budget is transferred to SAP Retail, the system determines the validity start date and the validity end date for the each planning period.
