Definition
Controls whether the item for the purchasing document is deleted or locked.
Use
You can set the deletion indicator using Item or Edit -> Delete, if
- You want to cancel an item, or
- An item is completed and can be archived.
You can set the locking indicator by using Item or Edit -> Lock, if you want to prohibit follow-on functions for the item. Note that you must remove the indicator manually, as soon as follow-on functions are permitted.
Procedure
Examples
- You have entered a purchase order item by mistake. You cancel the item by setting the deletion indicator.
- A purchase order item has been fully delivered and settled, and is now ready for archiving. You can now set the deletion indicator.
