Documentation
Definition
The actual range of coverage (in days) is calculated in online planning as follows:
Actual range of coverage =
(stock on-hand + stock on-order) / average forecast consumption
Note
If no forecast values are available for a material, the maximum value of 999.99 is displayed for the range of coverage.
The on-order stock that is considered depends on the delivery date: only open order quantities with a delivery date that is earlier than or the same as the delivery date displayed are taken into consideration. If the delivery date is changed, it may cause the on-order stock and therefore also the actual range of coverage to change.
