Reading the Secondary Table

Use

The secondary table is also read for the generic worklist preselection for the report that is to be parallel processed, if you have made a setting for the generic 2 level type of preselection.

The secondary table must have the same primary key as the primary table (and the names must match up). Additional key fields are also permitted.

Generally, the primary table represents the document header and the secondary table represents the document items (for example, VBAK - sales document header and VBAP - sales document item). The primary table can also contain the document status (for example, VBUK - sales document status).
