Definition
The total runtime of a navigation step in the Business Warehouse is divided as follows:
- Initialization time: Time for the initialization of an OLAP report, during which the definition of the query is loaded.
- OLAP runtime: Time spent in the OLAP processor
- Front End runtime: Time spent at the front end and in the network
- Master data runtime: Time used for reading the master data from the database
- Database runtime: Time used for reading the transaction data from the database
