Definition
This data element contains information about the name of the value field in the text table for customer-specific (planning) characteristics.
If no name is specified, it is assumed as standard that the field has the same name as the planning level itself.
Use
If you use customer-specific characteristics or names of planning levels that are different from the standard (for example ZZMATKL for the material group instead of MATKL), you need to let the system know which table contains the names of the characteristic attributes. As it is perfectly conceivable that the value field has a different name to the planning level, it is possible to enter the name of this field explicitly.
An example of when such a difference can arise in the text table between the name of the planning level and the name of the value field, are classification system characteristics with the inspection method "Customer-Defined Table" in connection with characteristics planning.
