Selecting the switch indicates if the actual data is to be updated to the database table assigned to the planning step, when the SAP Business Warehouse is used as the actual data source.
This means that the actual data is taken from the info cube that was assigned to the storage periodicity for the planning step. You can enter the info cube when you make BW-specific settings at the scenario level.
