Definition
This data element contains information about the name of the text field in the customer-specific tables in which the description of characteristic attributes for the current planning levels are stored.
If no name is specified, it is assumed that the text field is called 'TEXT'.
Use
If you use customer-specific characteristics or names for the planning levels that are different from the standard names (for example, ZZMATKL for the material group instead of MATKL), then you need to let the system know the table in which the names of the characteristic attributes are stored. As there is no universally applicable standard that can be used to determine which field in a database table contains the name of a value, the name of the field must be specified explicitly.
