Definition
The hierarchy structure is a DDIC structure containing the fields that are added as a master data hierarchy to the planning hierarchy.
Example: The planning hierarchy consists of the fields VKORG, VTWEG, CDT1, CDT2, CDT3, CDT4, CDT5, CDT6, CDT7 and MATNR. The characteristics CDT1 to CDT7 and MATNR represent a master data hierarchy, the customer decision tree. The customer decision tree must be included in the planning hierarchy under the fields VKORG and VTWEG. In this case, the hierarchy structure consists of the fields CDT1, CDT2, CDT3, CDT4, CDT5, CDT6, CDT7 and MATNR.
