Definition
This flag must be set if the planning unit of measure selected does not match the base unit of measure. Furthermore, the base unit of measure for planning figures and the factors for converting planning units of measure into base units of measure must be maintained.
Note:
Quantity planning is only useful above a planning level on which identical units of measure exist. SAP recommends you use base units of measure in planning, as converting from planning units of measure to base units of measure can lead to incorrect results if average conversion factors can only be maintained at aggregated planning levels.
