Definition
If the planning versions of the source and target planning steps are assigned to different planning hierarchy versions, the disaggregation behavior of the planning data during planning step linking needs to be defined more closely.
The disaggregation of planning data can take place in accordance with proportional factors of the planning hierarchy or in accordance with proportions of existing planning data on more detailed planning levels.This is an attribute of the planning hierarchy version. If the indicator is set, the attribute of the planning hierarchy version that is assigned to the planning version of the target planning step is used. If the indicator is not set, the attribute of the hierarchy version from the source planning step planning version is used.
Note:
SAP recommends that you use the planning hierarchy of the target planning step as defining hierarchy (this is the default setting). This is because in manual planning, the planning data disaggregated by planning step linking in the target planning step is generally compared with the planning data from the target planning hierarchy.
