The context structure is a DDIC structure containing fields. The way in which the attribute is determined is dependent on these fields.
Example:: The planning hierarchy consists of the fields VKORG, VTWEG, CDT1, CDT2, CDT3, CDT4, CDT5, CDT6, CDT7, SSTUF and MATNR. The characteristics CDT1 to CDT7 and MATNR represent a master data hierarchy, the customer decision tree. The customer decision tree must be included in the planning hierarchy under the fields VKORG and VTWEG. The field SSTUF is in the planning hierarchy, among the fields for the master data hierarchy. This field is an atrribute, and not part of the master data hierarchy. It must therefore be derived. In this example, SSTUF is dependent on MATNR. The context structure therefore is derived from the field MATNR.
