Definition
Time-based aggregation of a key figure describes how a value aggregated on a time-basis (for example, over a year) is made up of the values from the relevant period (for example, the month of the relevant year) in a planning layout. (For more information, see "special aggregation").
This does not, however, define the time-based disaggregation method for the key figure in question. Time-based disaggregation is a method by which data entered in aggregated time periods (for example, over a year) can be distributed to time levels that are below (for example, month) the time period used in disaggregation. The method of disaggregation is defined using the time-based distribution key (see also distribution key Pw/oY or distribution key PwY).
