Definition
Average Retail is a specific key figure with which planning is converted from a value basis into a quantity basis within manual planning.
The key figure determines the average price on an aggregation level. A time interval that users can set is a prerequisite when calculating the Average Retail price. The time interval is set in Customizing. The currency unit for this is the entry currency from manual planning. The unit of measure used in the calculation is defined by the user.
Here, average retail is calculated based on sales at retail
with tax, taking markdowns into consideration.
