Definition

This entry is taken from the official form that an employee has to submit to the employer if the employee wants to take advantage of the commuter rate.

The value represents the one-way travel distance (rounded to whole kilometers) between the place of work of the employee and their home that is closest to the place of work.

Use

This value is used as of January 1, 2013 to determine the commuter euro. If you specify a distance for the partial or comprehensive commuter rate, the kilometers specified here should correspond with the commuter rate selected. Use the input help for this purpose:

• By choosing the adjust pushbutton under Partial Commuter Rate, you can apply the value from the Home - Place of Work (One Way) field.
• By choosing the adjust pushbutton under Comprehensive Commuter Rate, you can apply the value from the Shortest Route Between Home and Place of Work field.
