Definition
Maximum amount for which a bill of exchange can be issued if it is to be used in payment transactions with the business partner.
Use
The amount limit is taken into account during automatic payment transactions with bill of exchange payments and bill of exchange payment requests. If the amount to be paid is greater that the maximum amount defined here, several bill of exchange forms are created. Each of these bills of exchange is for the maximum amount or a smaller amount.
Amount limits for bills of exchange are used in Spain, for example.
