Documentation
Definition
You can use this field to control the level at which the system determines the receiving customers.
You have the following options:
- (Issuing) plant
- Material group
- Material
Some of the possible checks (depending on the method selected) cannot be carried out for every one of the selected levels.
- Determination at plant level is advisable when the quantity of receiving customers is the same for all materials that are relevant to the forecast scenario in the issuing plant.
- Determination at material group level is advisable when the quantity of receiving customers is the same for all materials in the receiving plant that are relevant to the forecast scenario within a material group.
- Determination at material level is advisable when the quantity of receiving customers can be different for all materials in the receiving plant that are relevant to the forecast scenario.
The more specific the level for determination, the more performance-intensive and time-consuming the determination, and the greater the need for memory space. You should therefore select the most general level possible.
