Definition

A coupon is a cutting from a brochure, newspaper etc., for which a price reduction is granted when it is presented on purchase of certain goods.

Use

Coupons are created in SAP Retail as materials with material type "Coupon". This material type is provided in the standard system.

You define the goods for which a price reduction is to be granted when you define a bonus buy. In bonus buys, a coupon can be assigned as a prerequisite for granting a price reduction.
