Definition
Indicator for correcting the replenishment lead time.
Set this indicator to correct the forecast values by the replenishment lead time between the distribution center and stores.
After forecast calculation, the forecast values are then brought forward by the planned delivery time, which is contained in the vendor master for the distribution center. If the planned delivery time is not a round multiple of a period length, the values are moved proportionately. The planned delivery time is interpreted in working days. For a proportional shift, an average number of working days is used per period.
It is only advisable to use this indicator in a scenario in which the forecast in the distribution center is created on the basis of store requirements, and in which the requirements are due earlier than in the stores because of the planned delivery time (Post Distribution Forecasting (PDF) scenario).
Customer corrections of the forecast values by the replenishment lead time can be carried out using an exit. You must set an indicator for this.
