Definition

A unique indicator in the external application that transfers external wage components to SAP Payroll.

Use

The origin is used as a key component for all activities performed in connection with external wage components. The origins of external wage components must be entered in Customizing for Payroll before an external application can transfer them.

Origin indicators are stored in the SUBTY field of table T591A (Subtype Characteristics) as subtypes of infotype 0579 (External Wage Components).
