Definition

Sales organization that you can assign to a promotion.

Use

You can assign a distribution chain to a promotion by entering a sales organization and a distribution channel. In the standard system, the reference distribution chain in Customizing for the promotion is used as the default value.

If you activate the promotion sales prices at distribution chain level, the sales price calculation functions of the Pricing component use the distribution chain from the header data of the promotion.
