Definition

Indicator that controls the format in which the material order number is created. The following values are possible:

• 1

  Catalog code + Separator symbol + Material number

• 2

  Material number + Separator symbol + Catalog code

Dependencies

If a separator symbol is not defined, the order number is created by placing the catalog code in front of or after the material number.

Example

The following settings were made:

• Order number format: 2
• Separator symbol: '/'
• Catalog code: XY

For material number '4711', order number '4711-XY' is created.

Notes

A different order number format can be achieved by using a customer exit.
