Definition
Maximum number of packets that can be processed simultaneously.
Use
Using this parameter ensures that system resources are used equally by different processes.
Example
A maximum of twenty packets can be processed simultaneously despite the system being able to process fifty packets. The reason for this is that system resources are 'reserved' for other processes and/or online users. You therefore limit that maximum number of packets to twenty.
