Definition

Indicates the function module with which filter criteria for product groups are read. Filter criteria are valuated (in the sense of the SAP Classification System).

Dependencies

The filtering of product groups works as follows:

• The filter criteria are determined via the function module.
• The valuation is read for each product group (= layout area in the product catalog), and checked against the filter criteria. A product group is filtered out if it has at least one criterion that occurs in both the filter criteria and the layout area, and the valuations of which are different in the filter criteria and the layout area.
• If a product group is filtered out, all products assigned at a lower level to this product group are also filtered out.

Notes

You can enter function module CUSTOMER_FILTER_CHAR_READ, for example. This reads all characteristics from the classification for the customer logged on to the Online Store.

Note

The function module must have the same interface as function module CUSTOMER_FILTER_CHAR_READ.
