Definition
Indicates that the online store user sees a selection box which can be used to switch to encrypted transfer (SSL, secure socket layer) before any customer ID data is entered.
Dependencies
A prerequisite for using this is that your web server supports SSL.
If you switch back to non-encrypted transfer after the customer ID is entered (this is the case e.g. in early customer identification), the system switches back to SSL before the purchase order is sent.
