Definition

The OTA (one-time account) customer is a customer in the system that is required for processing a one-time business transaction. If the user in the online store wants to place an order without registering, the OTA customer is needed for the order.

Notes

The OTA customer must be created for the sales area for which the order is saved. This sales area is the sales area in the basic data of the product catalog that is used in the online store.
Comment: If common distribution channels/divisions are defined in SD master data Customizing, the customer must be defined for the "Distribution channel customer" / "Division customer" defined here.
