Definition
In the calculation of the margin loss, the margin value is first calculated using all price phases with the margin of the first price phase. This means that the system calculates how how the margin value would have been if the merchansidse had been sold in all price phases at the original price. The actual margin value is then subtracted from this value. The result is known as the margin loss.
Margin loss = (SUM (price phase bus. vol.(sales) * Initial margin)) -
(SUM (price phase bus.vol (sales) * price phase margin))
