Definition

In the calculation of the margin loss, the system first determines how high the margin value would have been if the merchandise had been sold at the original price in all price phases. The margin value actually achieved is then subtracted from this value. The result is the margin loss.

Margin loss = Planned sales quantity * ( 100%price - actual final price)
