Definition

The announcement category defines in which form a plant is informed about a promotion. The message flow between the head office and the plant is also determined by it.

Dependencies

You define announcement categories in Customizing under notification categories for the allocation table.

You can create an announcement category in the Customizing for the promotion type. This is used as a default value for the header data in the promotion. The announcement category in the header data of the promotion is also used as a default value for the items.
