Definition
The release status provides you with information about the current status of a data record if it is subject to the release procedure.
The first character represents the number of persons needed for the release.
The second character indicates the number of releases to be completed.
Example:
A data record is subject to the priniciple of dual control, that is, two release levels must be passed, and two different persons are needed.
Therefore the initial status assigned during creation is '22'.
After the first release has been completed, the field Release Status has the value '21'.
After the second release, the field has the value '20' for 'released'.
