Documentation
Definition
Specifies the number of hours after which the virus scan server is to be regularly reinitialized.
Use
You can use this function if you receive new virus definitions at regular intervals. A reinitialization is required for the virus scan server to load these.
If you enter a value of 0, no automatic reinitialization is performed.
Dependencies
The automatic reinitialization is performed during the periodic monitoring of the virus scan servers by the CCMS.
SAP provides certified virus scanner providers with an interface with which the initialization can be performed from outside the system, for example, from the vendor's update tool. If the vendor of your virus scanner uses this procedure, you can leave this field empty.
Example
To reinitialize the virus scan server once per day, enter 24 hours.
