Documentation
Definition
Code page that is set when starting the virus scan server using the CCMS.
Use
Enter the code page that is to apply for the virus scan server here. This should be the same as the code page of the application server with which the virus scan server communicates:
- If you only use one code page in your application servers, enter this code page
- If you have application servers in different code pages (such as English and Japanese), set up a virus scan server on each application server, and specify the valid code page in each case.
- If your system uses UNICODE, do not enter anything.
Dependencies
The code page has no effect on the execution of the virus scan. It can, however, influence the transfer of text information to the virus scan server (path specifications), and the return of results (such as file names). If the system returns a number sign (#) here, an error occurred during character conversion.
Example
Examples of valid code pages are 1100 and 8000.
