Definition

The commitment period applies to sales agents who are subscribers themselves and indicates the length of time for which they have committed themselves to purchasing the publication. This period is specified in the campaign framework and copied to the promotion data for the order item. It can then be adjusted in individual cases.

Use

If the sales agent terminates his/her own subscription (not the subscription obtained from a third party), the system checks all order items obtained as a result of introduction by this agent. If the commitment period is not complied with for any of these items, the system notifies the administrator, who can then have the sales agent return the free gift(s) awarded for the introductions.
