Definition
In a class search, the comparison type defines how the characteristic value entered is to be compared with the objects in the class.
Use
You can define whether all objects which match the characteristic values entered (inclusive) or all objects which do not match the characteristic values entered (exclusive) are selected.
If the characteristic is in character format, you can also define whether the characteristic value assigned to the object must be identical to the value you enter, or whether the character string you enter must occur somewhere in the value assigned to the object (find string).
The following entries are supported:
1 - inclusive without find string
blank - same as 1
2 - inclusive with string search
3 - exclusive without string search
4 - exclusive without string search
