Definition
Indicator in the vehicle table. This indicator influences the visibility of the vehicle when a vehicle search is being run in the system.
Use
There are two options for removing the vehicle from the hit list in the vehicle search:
- When selecting vehicles from the database, you can use a specific BAdI (VLC_EXECUTE_ACTION) in which the visibility can be used together with the VMS role as a paramter.
For example, a VMS user for an importer can see all vehicles which car dealers can only see those (visible and excluded) vehicles for which sales orders exist, for which a quotation has been generated, or which has been assigned to a customer.
- The visibilty can be used as a parameter after data has been selected in Category management. The second option offers reduced performance as several vehicles are selected which then have to be filtered out at a later date.
