Definition
Date that is used as a basis for scheduling.
- Today's date: time at which the action is carried out
- Production date: time at which the vehicle is produced
- Confirmed delivery date: time that is determined in an availability check
On the date selected the system automatically adds the Days remaining until delivery and thus calculates the Planned delivery date.
Use
For actions that are carried out relatively early in the process, where the scheduling is still fairly rough cut, the setting Production date is of more use, and for actions that run relatively late, Today's date is recommended.
