Definition
Data field for an express delivery company. You can specify this field by using a data field type and entering a standard value in this field when you define data fields. You can use a standard value to force a simple variable replacement: if you enter "SHIPACCT", for example, it would be replaced with the field whose data field type is SHIPACCT.
The length defined for the data field is taken into consideration during variable replacement.
Please note:
This process physically saves the following fields in the tracking header table: tracking number,sender number, service code, routing information and product code.
The program recognizes these fields by their qualifiers for external communications.
Use
Maintain the standard value for a data field under meta-data in transaction 0VVT.
