Definition
The parameters specified for a program run for a mass change of meter reading units are grouped into a parameter group through a freely selected key.
Procedure
To define parameters, use the Define Parameters transaction.
For each parameter group you must specify the date when the mass changes in the relevant installations are to be made. Enter the meter reading unit from the regional structure as well as the old meter reading unit. These two meter reading units both refer to the the new meter reading unit that to be is entered in the affected installations.
Example
In a specific regional structure area, meter reading unit MRU01 is to be changed to MRU02. To make a mass change, you must proceed as follows:
- You must first change the meter reading unit (default value) from MRU01 to MRU02 in the regional structure area (city or street).
- Now enter the following in the parameter group:
- Meter reading unit for regional structure area MRU02
- Previous meter reading unit MRU01
- New meter reading unit MRU02
Allocating the meter reading unit in this way ensures that all installations that were allocated to meter reading unit MRU01 are now allocated to MRU02. The allocation only affects those installations that are located in the corresponding regional structure area.
Further notes
Entering the new meter reading unit enables you allocate a group of installations to a meter reading unit that differs from the regional structure.
You can leave the Meter reading unit for regional structure field empty. An entry in this field changes installations for which there is no default value in the regional structure.
