Definition

Defines the status of the handling unit concerning backflushing in repetitive manufacturing.

Use

Depening on the status, you can or cannot post the goods receipt for the handling unit:

  • You may have to fill in certain data in order to carry out the backflush.
  • The backflush may not be possible due to serious errors.
  • If the handling unit has already been backflushed, you can only carry out a reversal.

You can display the meaning of the symbols by choosing Goto -> Display legend.

Procedure

When creating the handling unit, the system carries out the following checks:

  • Handling unit check

    For example, the system checks whether or not the HU to be backflushed is a higher-level handling unit. Only higher-level handling units can be backflushed.

  • Check to see whether backflush is allowed

    The system checks to see whether the prereqisites for backflushing have been fulfilled. For example, does a planned order exist or does the handling unit only contain one material?
